QuickBooks Online and Desktop both accept CSV imports for bills and invoices, but require a specific column structure — vendor name, date, line-item description, quantity, unit price, and tax. This tool extracts every field from your PDF invoice and outputs a CSV that matches the QuickBooks import format, so you can drop it straight into the 'Import Bills' or 'Import Sales Receipts' flow. Works with any vendor's invoice, in any language.

Frequently asked questions
- Does the CSV import directly into QuickBooks Online?
- Yes — the CSV headers match QuickBooks Online's expected format for the Bills / Bank Transactions import. Some columns (like Account) still need manual mapping in the QuickBooks import wizard, which takes 1-2 minutes.
- Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise / Premier)?
- Yes. QuickBooks Desktop uses IIF or CSV import for line items — the CSV output works via the IIF converter or third-party tools like Transaction Pro Importer.
- Can I bulk-process invoices?
- Single-file today. For batch (10+ invoices), use the Public API endpoint /api/v1/extract-invoice — free with a 100/day per-IP limit, no key required.
- What about multi-currency invoices?
- The currency field is captured (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) — you'll need to enable multi-currency in QuickBooks before importing non-USD invoices.
- Is my invoice stored?
- No. Zero-retention — the PDF is processed and immediately discarded on both our server and Anthropic's side.
